Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineering Manager to lead a global team and accelerate the adoption of the Enterprise Data Platform through strategic partnerships with NVIDIA, Dell, IBM, Salesforce, Informatica, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

This senior leadership role demands deep technical fluency, strong GTM acumen, and the ability to influence product direction while delivering high-impact data solutions with partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building, leading, and managing solution engineering or alliances teams.
• Strong experience with system integrators, software/hardware partners, and cloud service providers.
• Experience managing joint business initiatives, co-sell programs, and marketplace integrations.
• Deep knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem and modern data management principles.
• Fluency with infrastructure (Kubernetes), programming languages (Java/.NET/Python), and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a world-class team of Partner Solutions Engineers and build strategic partner relationships.
• Drive alliances strategy, co-GTM initiatives, and joint go-to-market with major partners.
• Translate complex customer problems into winning, simple solutions and present outcomes to stakeholders.
• Move prospects through sales processes using labs, POCs, and RFPs to drive deals.
• Collaborate with Channels & Alliances to acquire new logos and develop joint programs.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Product Management to influence product direction.
• Serve as a technology evangelist through thought leadership and external engagements.
