Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Director, Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) for Legal to lead the technical design of partner-enabled solutions, setting architecture standards and ensuring offerings are scoped, secure, and ready to sell.

You will manage a team of solutions architects, perform due diligence on partners, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal to translate opportunities into scalable, customer-centric deployments that leverage AI and cloud capabilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in solutions architecture or enterprise software.
• Experience designing integrations with partner APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise data systems.
• Experience designing AI or ML-enabled solutions, including retrieval and model integration.
• Track record translating designs into commercial offerings with Product, Sales, and Partnerships.
• Experience leading and developing a technical team with coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Define the reference architecture for partner-delivered legal solutions.
• Translate partner capabilities and customer workflows into scoped designs.
• Review and approve technical designs for partner offerings before commitments.
• Assess partner platforms, APIs, and AI models for technical fit and compliance.
• Evaluate security, data residency, and governance practices; document mitigations.
• Lead technical discovery and solution workshops with prospective customers.
• Design proofs of concept and pilots with early customers.
• Support Sales with technical positioning in complex deals.
• Collaborate with Product to shape the partner roadmap and resolve gaps.
• Partner with Engineering on delivery, release readiness, and support models.
• Bring customer and partner feedback into product planning for iterative improvements.
