Job summary
Thomson Reuters seeks a Legal AI Engineer to help law firm customers transform how legal work gets done with Legal AI. You will identify high-value workflows, design AI-enabled solutions, and guide adoption across practice areas.
You will work with Practice Innovation Advisors, Forward Deployed Engineers, and other partners to address complex needs and explore integrations, prototypes, and custom developments. You will travel regularly (approx.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited US law school is required.
- Proven experience practicing law in law firms, in-house, or comparable settings.
- Experience in customer-facing roles with enterprise accounts is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of online legal research and practice tools (Westlaw, Practical Law, Relativity, Everlaw, HighQ).
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions, demonstrations, and executive briefings with law firm customers.
- Scope use cases, advise on workflow design, and demonstrate Legal AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Legal AI strategies for key clients.
- Translate complex legal workflows into solution designs, prototypes, and integrations.
- Document requirements and lessons learned to reuse in future engagements.
