Job summary

Thomson Reuters seeks an AI Solutions Architect to transform how law firms use Legal AI. You will design, test, and scale AI-enabled workflows, partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams, and drive adoption across client organizations.

You will lead on-site discovery sessions, demonstrate capabilities, and help prioritize use cases while creating reusable playbooks and patterns. This role emphasizes client-facing delivery and strategic collaboration.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited US law school is required.
• Prior experience practicing law is required (law firm/in-house government, etc.).
• Proven experience in customer- or client-facing roles, ideally with Enterprise or complex accounts.
• Familiarity with legal workflows such as due diligence, eDiscovery, large document review, compliance.
• Demonstrable experience with generative AI applications.
• Experience with online legal research tools (Westlaw, Practical Law, HighQ, Relativity, Everlaw).
• Tech-savvy with a strong aptitude for learning new AI tools; no formal technical background required.
• Basic programming (Python) experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, demonstrations, and workshops with law firm customers.
• Identify and prioritize Legal AI use cases and design scalable solutions.
• Develop adoption strategies and enable high-value users across portfolios.
• Document best practices and reusable use cases for scalable adoption.
• Advise on architecture: product, partner solutions, integrations, or custom development.
• Communicate customer needs to cross-functional teams and contribute to thought leadership.
• Explain Thomson Reuters products and roadmaps in practical terms to diverse stakeholders.
• Travel regularly (approx. 25–30%) to customer sites to support engagements.
