Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to help customers implement cloud solutions and lead architectural decisions across compute, data, AI/ML, and security.

You will work with partners and executives to define architectures, respond to RFPs, and evangelize AWS services across multiple workstreams. You will become a trusted advisor, shaping customer strategies and driving adoption of AWS technologies while mentoring teams and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software/Internet industries.
• 4+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security or data & analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree or Cloud Certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, Cloud DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for rapidly scaling partners within state and local government, education, non-profit, and/or healthcare domains.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture spanning compute, data, AI/ML, cloud migrations, analytics, etc.
• Operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, translating business objectives into AWS-native architectures.
• Provide thought leadership and capture best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Collaborate with world-class sales and business development teams to drive partner success.
