Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is recruiting a Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy and architecture for partners across government, education, non-profit, and healthcare sectors.

You will own end-to-end solution designs, spanning compute, data, AI/ML, cloud migrations, and analytics, and present to executive stakeholders. You will influence architectural decisions, respond to RFPs, and develop AWS know-how while evangelizing security best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Bachelor's degree, or Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for rapidly scaling partners within state and local government, education, non-profit, and/or healthcare domains.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture spanning compute, data, AI/ML, cloud migrations, analytics, etc.
• Operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, translating business objectives into AWS-native architectures.
• Provide thought leadership and capture best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Collaborate with world-class sales and business development teams to drive partner success.
