Job summary

Amazon is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy and architecture for partners across government, education, and non-profit sectors. You will own end-to-end solution designs spanning compute, data, AI/ML, cloud migrations, and analytics, while engaging executives to align business goals with AWS-native architectures.

This role demands independent leadership, deep AWS knowledge, and the ability to evangelize best practices through workshops, white papers, and events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. cloud computing, security, data & analytics).
• Bachelor's degree, or Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for rapidly scaling partners within state and local government, education, non-profit, and/or healthcare domains.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture spanning compute, data, AI/ML, cloud migrations, analytics, etc.
• Operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, translating business objectives into AWS-native architectures.
• Provide thought leadership and capture best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to drive partner success.
