Job summary

Cockroach Labs is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect for the Americas partner team to drive technical leadership across Cloud, ISV, OEM, and GSI partnerships. You will craft integration opportunities, certify assets, shape GTM narratives, and enable partners to influence pipeline and revenue.

You will own the domain end-to-end, building reusable assets, and guiding architectural discussions with executives and developers alike.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pre-sales, solutions architecture, partner engineering, or technical consulting in cloud tech.
• Visible body of GTM content and technical work establishing credibility.
• Comfort presenting to diverse audiences and leadership.
• Deep cloud ecosystem knowledge with AWS, GCP, or Azure experience.
• Strong hands-on skills to build demos, architectures, and POCs.
• Experience with relational databases and distributed SQL is a plus.
• Ability to travel for partner events and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute technical partner strategy and GTM plans with BD counterparts.
• Develop executive GTM content and joint marketing assets with partners.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to Americas partners during discovery and opportunities.
• Lead architectural discussions and integration planning across orgs.
• Support POCs and technical validation for partner solutions and CockroachDB.
• Publish reusable technical assets and integration cross-sell content.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate asset creation and reporting.
