Job summary

Cockroach Labs is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect for the Americas partner team. You will own end-to-end domain responsibilities, from identifying integration opportunities to building assets, shaping GTM narratives, enabling partners, and driving pipeline influence in a builder-first role.

You will collaborate across Cloud, ISV, OEM, and GSI motions, develop reusable assets, and lead deep technical discussions while leveraging AI tools to accelerate content and automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pre-sales, solutions architecture, partner engineering, or technical consulting within cloud tech.
• Proven credibility with published technical work and GTM content.
• Comfort presenting to groups internally and externally.
• Deep understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and partner programs.
• Hands-on ability to build demos, code, design architectures, and run POCs.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute technical partner strategy and GTM plans with Business Development partners.
• Develop content: executive GTM decks, white papers, blogs, case studies, webinars, talks; create integration videos and demos.
• Act as trusted technical advisor to Americas-based partners; identify opportunities and guide integrations.
• Lead architectural discussions and integration planning across partner and customer teams.
• Support POCs and technical validation for CockroachDB partner solutions.
• Provide guidance on architecture, deployment patterns, and migration strategies to varied audiences.
• Publish reusable technical assets (architectures, SDKs, repos) and amplify launches with co-marketing assets.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate asset creation and reporting.
