Job summary
The Industrial Commission of Arizona, Phoenix, seeks a Senior Paralegal to provide advanced litigation and case management support in the Legal Division. Qualifications
- Legal concepts, terminology, and procedures; use of statutes and case law.
- Knowledge of admin hearing and court rules and filing requirements.
- Formatting and organization of legal documents and pleadings.
- Understanding attorney-client confidentiality and ethics.
- Experience with case management software and official systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and case materials.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on legal issues.
- Coordinate court and admin filings and meet deadlines.
- Maintain case files and case management records.
- Review public records requests and subpoenas; draft responses.
- Assist with certified records and appellate filings.
- Support discovery with document organization and production.
- Participate in process improvements and SOPs.
- Train and supervise Legal Assistants, review work.
