Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join a hybrid team in Chicago or Houston. You will support complex litigation, manage e-filing processes, and coordinate discovery and case work across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires six years of paralegal experience, strong research skills and proficiency with Relativity, Westlaw and other major databases. Excellent organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal experience a plus.
• Six+ years in paralegal or equivalent role.
• Experience with government investigations (SEC/DOJ) preferred.
• Proficient with e-filing and complex court filings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with Federal and State court pleadings and filings.
• Support discovery: document review, production, depositions.
• Prepare for interviews, depositions, hearings, trials and client meetings.
• Review motions and prepare exhibits, proofreading and cite-checking.
• Coordinate complex, large-volume filings and deadlines.
• Manage case files and ensure compliance with firm protocols.
