Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our litigation team in a hybrid role based in Chicago or Houston. The Senior Paralegal will support complex litigation tasks with minimal supervision across all phases of litigation, guiding junior staff and collaborating with attorneys.

Required are a Bachelor's degree and at least six years of paralegal experience, with strong knowledge of federal and state court rules, e-filing, and legal research.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum six years of paralegal experience or equivalent.
Experience with federal and state court rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

Leads preparation and filing of Federal and State Court pleadings and other court papers.
Assists with discovery, including document review, production and depositions.
Assists with interviews, depositions, hearings, trials and client meetings.
