Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP seeks a Senior Paralegal to support complex litigation across multiple jurisdictions. The position is based in Los Angeles or Palo Alto with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include handling advanced filing, discovery, document review, and coordination with attorneys and staff; you will manage deadlines, perform legal research, and mentor junior team members while maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of six years of paralegal experience.
• Experience with government investigations, including SEC/DOJ.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and e-filing.
• Proficiency with Relativity and other discovery platforms.
• Excellent research, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and filing of federal and state court pleadings.
• Assist with discovery, including document review and depositions.
• Provide guidance to paralegals, assistants, attorneys and staff.
• Coordinate with managing law clerks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain client files with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Perform legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER and other resources.
