Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our litigation team. This hybrid role can be based in Boston, New York, or Washington, D.C., supporting complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

You will mentor junior staff, manage discovery, pleadings, and document review, and collaborate with partners, associates and other paralegals across offices to drive efficient case work. The position requires strong knowledge of federal and state rules, e-filing, Relativity,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of six years of experience in a paralegal position or similar role.
• Experience with government investigations (e.g., SEC/DOJ) is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to navigate electronic databases.

Responsibilities

• Leads and assists with the preparation and filing of Federal and State Court pleadings and other court papers.
• Provides assistance throughout all phases of discovery, including document review, production and depositions.
• Assists with preparation for interviews, depositions, hearings, trials and client meetings.
• Reviews motions, briefs and other court papers; proofreading, cite-checking, and formatting.
• Prepares and coordinates complex filings and large-volume submissions.
• Manages deadlines and coordinates with staff to ensure timely filings.
