Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal to support a national counsel team in automobile insurance defense, focusing on minimum financial responsibility cases. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience and holds a paralegal certificate or a law-related degree.

They will utilize firm-approved tools, manage a nationwide docket, and work across multiple offices with strict attention to detail and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience with automobile insurance defense, including minimum financial responsibility.
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a law related field or Associate’s degree and paralegal training.
• Significant, substantive legal experience may be considered in lieu of formal education at the discretion of the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with MFR claim management, fact investigation, medical record review, docketing and case deadline management, and drafting litigation documents and client reporting.
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials and attend when needed.
• Prepare draft pleadings and discovery; coordinate filing of pleadings/documents and service.
• Collect and summarize medical records; assist with calendaring/docketing.
• Work with attorneys in multiple offices; maintain professional demeanor and attention to detail.
