Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal to support a national counsel team handling auto insurance defense matters, including minimum financial responsibility claims, across multiple states. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with technology and firm-approved tools, including AI.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience with automobile insurance defense, including minimum financial responsibility.
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a law-related field (or equivalent) and paralegal training.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage a nationwide docket.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to attorneys in all aspects of MFR claim management and litigation.
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials and related proceedings, and attend as needed.
• Prepare draft pleadings and discovery.
• Coordinate filing of pleadings/documents and arrange for service.
• Collect and summarize medical and/or other records.
• Assist with calendaring/docketing.
• Work with attorneys in multiple offices.
• Maintain professional demeanor and attitude; sustain attention to detail.
• Learn/develop proficiency in AI tools and firm-approved tech.
• Meet billable hour requirement of 1500 hours per year.
