Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Paralegal to support a national counsel team in automobile insurance defense, focusing on minimum financial responsibility claims. The role emphasizes leveraging AI and firm-approved tools, with strong organization and detail orientation across a nationwide docket.

You will prepare and manage depositions, pleadings, and discovery, coordinating filings and document services while maintaining professionalism and efficiency in multiple office settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience with automobile insurance defense, including minimum financial responsibility.
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a law related field or Associate’s degree and paralegal training.
• Significant, substantive legal-related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education at the discretion of the Managing Director

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to attorneys in all aspects of MFR claim management and litigation, including fact investigation, medical record review, docketing and case deadline management, and drafting litigation documents and client reporting.
• Prepare materials for and assist in deposition, hearings, and trials and related proceedings, and attend if needed.
• Prepare draft pleadings and discovery.
• Coordinate filing of pleadings/documents and arrange for service.
• Collect and summarize medical and/or other records.
• Assist with calendaring/docketing.
• Work with attorneys in multiple offices.
• Meet billable hour requirement of 1500 hours per year.
