Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal to support a national counsel team handling automobile insurance defense matters with minimum financial responsibility. The role emphasizes strong organization, docket management, and familiarity with AI-assisted tools across multiple offices.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of related experience, a Paralegal Certificate or law degree, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience with automobile insurance defense, including minimum financial responsibility.
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a law-related field or anAssociate’s degree and paralegal training.
• Significant legal experience may be considered in lieu of formal education at the discretion of the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to attorneys in all aspects of MFR claim management and litigation, including fact investigation, medical record review, docketing and case deadline management, and drafting litigation documents and client reporting.
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials and related proceedings, and attend if needed.
• Prepare draft pleadings and discovery.
• Coordinate filing of pleadings/documents and arrange for service.
• Collect and summarize medical and/or other records.
• Assist with calendaring/docketing.
• Work with attorneys in multiple offices.
• Maintain professional demeanor and attitude.
• Learn and apply firm policies and learn AI tools.
