Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a seasoned sales leader to develop and monitor non-corrugated sales for the Southwest Converting division. The role interfaces with management, the existing sales force, tech reps, and designers to grow non-corrugated sales and profitability.

The candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and account management, traveling with staff to entertain customers, and ensuring quality by enforcing procedures. Equal opportunity employer with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent work history in the industry.
• Ten years of selling experience, preferably in the packaging industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales volume and product mix for maximum plant profitability.
• Determine the profit level of non-corrugated products.
• Monitor market changes and make necessary recommendations for equipment, product mix, and product inventory changes as needed.
• Educate, develop, and motivate sales staff. Travel with the sales staff to engage customers.
• Enforce procedures to ensure the quality of work done by the sales and design staff.
• Maintain customer contact with all major accounts.
• Prepare annual budget and sales forecasts as needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
