Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Senior Packaging Associate to train new hires and supervise packaging operations on the line. You will help set up shift assignments, rotations, and break relief while ensuring adherence to SOPs and quality guidelines.

You will train employees, coordinate with the Quality Department, and support changeovers and labeling tasks to maintain product specifications. Safety and housekeeping are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution or other industrial setting preferred.
• Experience as a trainer or in a leadership capacity preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead training for new hires and retrained employees on Packaging Associate duties.
• Ensure packaging processes meet SOPs, GMP/SQF, and quality guidelines.
• Support shift handoffs, break relief, and rotation planning to maintain performance.
