Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Senior Packaging Associate to lead training and retraining of Packaging Associates and to implement new packaging procedures. You will help set up shift assignments, rotations, and break relief while upholding GMP/SQF standards and safety guidelines.

The role requires coordinating with production supervision, line operators, quality, and safety teams to ensure on-spec packaging for customer orders and smooth shift handoffs.

Qualifications

• Trains new hires to perform Packaging Associate tasks per SWPs/SOPs
• Maintains positive communication and cross-functional teamwork across production
• Actively trains others and serves as a liaison between packaging associates and supervision

Responsibilities

• Train new/rehired employees on packaging duties and SOPs
• Set up shift assignments, rotations and break relief
• Support changeovers and restock packaging materials on lines
• Ensure packaging results meet specifications with Quality and Safety
• Assist with shift handoffs and workload balancing during absences
