Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Packaging Associate to perform final review of finished products and packaging materials, ensuring quality and proper packaging for delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, communicating concerns to supervisors, labeling, and operating the packaging line. The role requires standing for long periods, basic math, and adherence to GMP/SQF standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution or other industrial setting preferred.
• Accurate counting, packaging and labeling as per product specs.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and packaging materials to ensure quality.
• Communicate concerns to Quality Auditor, Operator, Lead Operator and/or Supervisor.
• Package all product types for all lines in the facility.
• Apply required labeling and ensure date coding and other information is correct.
• Operate packaging equipment and clear jams; reset printers as needed.
