Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Packaging Associate to perform final review of finished products and packaging materials, ensuring quality and proper labeling for delivery to customers. The role covers inspection, packaging across lines, basic rework, and safe operation of packaging equipment.

Responsibilities include communicating concerns to supervisors, maintaining GMP/SQF compliance, and assisting with scrap management and lean initiatives on the packaging lines.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect finished products and packaging materials to ensure they meet quality expectations.
• Communicate concerns to Quality Auditor, Operator, Lead Operator and/or Supervisor.
• Package all product types for all lines in the facility.
• Apply required labeling and ensure date coding and other necessary information is correct.
• Manually palletize and build/stack boxes according to pallet layout.
• Perform rework for rejected product or damaged boxes.
• Utilize packaging equipment (ink jet printers, auto bagger, box taper) and clear jams.
• Restock packaging materials and assist scrap management.
• Adhere to PPE, GMP, SQF, SWP, and general safety rules.
