Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate insurance product concepts into precise system requirements for Engineering and Tech Product. You will own the requirements lifecycle across new products, state launches, endorsements, and rating changes, coordinating with product, actuarial, underwriting, compliance, claims, and engineering teams.

You’ll lead UAT planning and ensure clear acceptance criteria, while maintaining traceability from decisions to deployment.

Qualifications

Translate insurance concepts (coverages, forms, endorsements, rating structures) into structured requirements for Engineering and Tech Product.
Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, decision tables, data mappings, and current- and future-state docs.
Partner with multiple teams in an Agile delivery environment to clarify requirements, run UAT, and validate implementation.
Synthesize input from stakeholders into clearly documented decisions and surface ambiguity early.

Responsibilities

Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, forms, and rating updates across teams.
Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews to ensure correct implementation before release.
Document current-state processes and define future-state workflows with traceability from decisions to deployment.
Act as primary point of contact for requirements questions during development and clarify as needed.
