Job summary
Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate P&C product decisions into precise, implementation-ready requirements for Engineering and Tech Product. You’ll coordinate across Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Engineering to ensure accurate translation of coverage changes and state configurations.
You’ll drive user stories, acceptance criteria, and data mappings, lead UAT, and maintain traceability from decisions to deployment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a business/ systems analyst role, including P&C insurance
- Translate insurance concepts into structured requirements for Engineering
- Experience with Agile/ iterative delivery and UAT
Responsibilities
- Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, coverage changes, forms, rating updates, and compliance
- Translate business decisions into clear business/functional requirements for Engineering
- Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product review processes
- Document current and future-state workflows and maintain traceability from decisions to implementation
