Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into precise requirements for Engineering and Tech Product. You will work across Insurance Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Engineering to ensure accurate, implementation-ready specifications.

You’ll own end-to-end requirements for new products, state changes, and forms, while leading UAT and validation to ensure deployments meet business needs and compliance.

Formación

• 5+ years in a business analyst or systems analyst role, including 3+ years in P&C insurance.
• Translating insurance product concepts into structured requirements for Engineering/Tech Product.
• Working knowledge of the product lifecycle and configuration in policy administration systems.
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, decision tables, and data mappings.
• Experience partnering with Engineering/IT in an Agile environment, including UAT and validation.
• Bonus: knowledge of policy administration systems and rating forms rules.

Responsabilidades

• Own the requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, and changes across teams.
• Translate business decisions into clear requirements and functional specs for Engineering.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to gather inputs and drive alignment from decision to deployment.
• Develop user stories, data mappings, and acceptance criteria with traceability.
• Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product reviews to validate implementations.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, and downstream impacts before development begins.
