Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate insurance product concepts into clear requirements for Engineering and Tech Product. You will own the requirements lifecycle across products, state launches, and policy changes, partnering with Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, Operations, and Engineering to ensure accurate, ready-to-build specifications.

You will drive user stories and acceptance criteria, lead UAT, and maintain traceability from

Qualifications

5+ years as business/systems analyst or similar
3+ years in P&C insurance
Translate insurance concepts into structured requirements for Eng/Tech Product
Create user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings
Experience with Agile/iterative delivery and UAT

Responsibilities

Own requirements lifecycle for new products, state launches, endorsements, forms, rating updates, and compliance
Lead the requirements questions as primary point of contact during development
Document current-state processes and define future-state workflows
Build acceptance criteria, data mappings, decision tables for developers
Lead UAT planning, test scenarios, and product review for releases
Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure alignment from business decisions to deployment
