Job summary
Kin Insurance is seeking a Senior Insurance Business Analyst to translate product decisions into implementable requirements across insurance product, operations, and engineering. You will own the lifecycle for state launches, endorsements, and coverage changes, partnering with Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Compliance, Claims, and Tech teams to ensure accurate implementation.
In this remote-first role, you will drive UAT, acceptance criteria, and documentation, turning complex insurance
Qualifications
- 5+ years as business/systems analyst in P&C insurance or related field.
- Translate insurance concepts into structured requirements for engineering.
- Document current and future state processes and rules clearly.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT in an Agile delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Own requirements lifecycle for new products, filings, forms, and endorsements.
- Translate business decisions into clear business and functional specs.
- Lead requirement clarification, UAT planning, and validation with teams.
- Create user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain alignment from decision to deployment across stakeholders.
