WSP is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Lead P&C Field Services Technician for project locations in Texas and Louisiana. You will lead field operations, perform protection and control testing on high voltage substations, and mentor technicians while coordinating with engineers and clients.

Ideal candidates have extensive HV testing experience, relay testing expertise (Omicron/Doble), and a track record of safe, compliant project delivery in utility environments.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 11+ years in electrical testing, including medium/high voltage equipment and substation testing.
• Experience with transmission, generation, or distribution relays and protective schemes.

Mansioni

• Lead field operations for complex projects with expert technical guidance and hands-on execution.
• Mentor technicians, manage site logistics, and ensure safe, compliant field work.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver tasks on time.
• Lead readiness planning, tool inspection, and weather contingency measures.
• Act as senior field representative during pre-construction reviews and client walkthroughs.
