Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Facilities/Outside Services professional to manage and optimize waste and safety programs across restaurants.

You will partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure SLAs, analyze cost drivers, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining restaurant operations. The role requires 3+ years in facilities or vendor management, strong financial acumen, and advanced Excel skills; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in facilities, operations, vendor management, or related field.
• Experience managing vendors across multiple locations.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret budgets and invoices.
• Experience with fire life safety and waste management pricing models preferred.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office; BI or CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize outside services programs, including waste streams and Fire & Life Safety compliance across all restaurants.
• Partner with vendors and stakeholders to ensure SLAs are met, performance tracked, and accountability enforced.
• Analyze service, invoice, contract and financial data to understand cost drivers for trash, recycling, and oil services.
• Evaluate vendor rates and billing components to validate charges and identify cost savings.
• Monitor spend against budget and forecast, resolve billing errors with Finance, Procurement and Accounts Payable.
• Develop cost-saving initiatives for trash, grease and oil programs while maintaining operations.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to align on priorities and budget performance.
• Apply Lean/Scrum to improve workflows and reduce waste.
• Support incident response related to Fire & Life Safety and other vendor services.
