Job summary

Graybar in Florida is seeking a Senior Outside Sales Representative to develop new prospects and maintain contacts with established customers, selling Graybar products in person at customer sites or other off-site locations.

You will meet or exceed annual gross margin budgets, handle customer issues promptly, travel extensively (including overnights), and participate in trade shows and sales meetings. Graybar offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience required; 6+ preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Knowledge of business administration, sales, and marketing.
• Negotiation skills and ability to persuade.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual gross margin budget by selling to complex accounts.
• Promote and sell products in assigned territory per pricing policies.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and report potential claims.
• Maintain customer records and assist in past due collections.
• Carry out sales programs and stock recommendations.
• Participate in training, trade shows, and sales meetings.
• Demonstrate products after sale when necessary.
