Job summary

Lumos Fiber seeks a Manager – OSP Construction to lead fiber build projects in a hybrid role. The candidate will manage schedules, budgets, and contractor teams across multiple job sites in the Pflugerville area, ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating with utilities and local authorities, driving process improvements, and maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in OSP construction, engineering, or operations fiber builds.
• 2+ years of experience leading techs and contractors in a fiber build environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven project management skills; able to manage multiple milestones to closure.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes assigned market builds safely, on time & within budget.
• Manages scheduling and coordination of maintenance, repair, and upgrades of OSP facilities.
• Delegates responsibility, designs builds, tracks progress, and motivates contractor crews.
• Interfaces with local governments & communities and responds timely to inquiries.
• Keeps stakeholders informed on build progress at all times.
• Provides technical leadership and standardizes processes.
