Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Senior Loss Prevention Coordinator to safeguard assets by managing delivery-related freight claims and reducing OS&D losses. You will analyze data, file vendor claims, and communicate across departments to keep projects on track and deadlines met.

You will collaborate with management, sales, vendors, and customers to identify trends, drive improvements, and maintain high service standards. Occasional travel for training supports your growth and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Prior food industry or retail experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OS&D incidents and ensure timely resolution and accurate documentation.
• Compile and distribute daily claims reports for internal tracking and compliance.
• Process inventory and customer account adjustments quickly to maintain data integrity.
