Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Sales Consultant to support clients in the North Indianapolis territory. You will drive product sales, build surgeon and OR staff relationships, and execute strategic selling plans to meet business goals.

You will identify opportunities, deliver in-services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure patient and system value, while traveling as needed and maintaining a strong focus on ethics and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of professional and/or related experience
• Associate degree or Medical Certification plus minimum 5 years of professional and/or related experience
• Minimum of 8 years of professional and/or related experience
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty plus minimum of 3 years of professional and/or related experience

Responsibilities

• Prospect and plan to identify and qualify prospective surgeons and accounts
• Achieve business plan objectives and sales quotas with approved resources
• Drive product sales for all assigned products within territory or named accounts
• Build relationships with surgeons and operating room staff within accounts
• Maintain contact with prospects and newly converted customers; support surgeons during surgical cases
• Educate surgeons, OR and central supply personnel through in-services and workshops
• Manage sales equipment and promotional materials according to company policies
• Handle competitive threats and promote new products and strategic objectives
• Plan to balance product sales mix in the territory
