Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's Orthopaedics division is hiring a Sales Consultant to develop and foster surgeon and account relationships in a designated geographic territory. The role focuses on converting prospects and penetrating existing customers, leveraging product knowledge and a strategic selling approach to meet the business plan.

Travel is required to cover the territory and support intraoperative cases; a lab/OR environment comfort and valid US driver’s license are necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years of professional or related experience with surgeons/accounts preferred.
• Alternative: Associate degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with 5+ years of related experience.
• Extensive experience in clinical sales, account management, and territory development is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify surgeons and accounts within a geographic territory.
• Develop and implement surgeon- or account-specific plans to grow sales and penetrate new business.
• Achieve business plan objectives and sales quotas using approved resources and product knowledge.
• Drive product sales across assigned products and territory, presenting and demonstrating solutions to customers.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital personnel; provide post-sale support and education.
