Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Program Manager to lead delivery for Public Sector and K12 clients in a permanent role. Travel to client sites is expected as needed. The role focuses on Oracle Cloud, ERP, and HCM solutions within government workflows.

This is a progressive position driving delivery excellence, coordinating large teams of IBM staff and partners, and shaping a strategy for long-term client success across multiple, complex programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of consulting experience or equivalent, with at IBM 6 years of managing projects/programs at other consulting firms supporting public sector clients.
• Experience with ERP and HCM SaaS applications preferably with Oracle Cloud.
• Experience performing the job of an architect or solutions specialist, business development manager (or consultative selling/closing), or project manager.
• A sustained record of developing new add-on, profitable business.
• Strong communication skills with experience developing relationships with a variety of clients at all levels.
• Collaborative team player in a IBM-paced environment with diverse groups.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving focus.
• Deep knowledge of public sector organizations, processes, challenges, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Improve customer success through customer-centric engagement and high customer satisfaction.
• Establish public sector/k12 industry best practices and customer advocacy within IBM delivery.
• Orchestrate delivery-led growth and partnership with public sector/k12 clients.
• Create customer forums and groups to enhance IBM client experience and IBM industry presence.
• Administer IBM engagement by expanding IBM Service Lines within our public sector clients.
• Direct multiple project work teams, compute objectives, monitor progress and staffing.
• Provide leadership in structuring large client engagements with multi-year contracts and multiple sub-contractors.
• Manage delivery of a portfolio of public sector projects within timelines, budgets and quality.
