Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Program Manager (Public Sector/K12) to join our Oracle Cloud Consulting team. This permanent, full-time role may require travel to customer sites and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

The Public Sector and K12 focus is central to our strategy, with opportunities to shape delivery, governance, and outcomes for government clients. You will lead complex engagements, manage large cross-functional teams, and drive delivery-led growth

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting experience or equivalent, with at least 6 years in IBM or similar firms serving public sector clients.
• ERP and HCM SaaS experience, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Experience as architect/solutions specialist, business development manager or project manager.
• Demonstrated record of developing new add-on, profitable business.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to engage with diverse client teams.
• Collaborative team player, capable of working in a fast-paced IBM environment.
• Deep knowledge of public sector organizations, processes and systems.
• Active participation in professional associations or industry roundtables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct multiple project work teams; set objectives and priorities.
• Structure large client engagements with multi-year contracts and multiple sub-contractors.
• Ensure timely delivery within budgets, margins and quality specs.
• Write clear statements of work for client and IBM staff alignment.
• Identify and pursue profitable revenue opportunities within existing client bases.
• Participate in sales and presales activities for public sector pursuits.
