Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks an Oracle Cloud Project Manager (Public Sector/K12) to lead delivery on multi-year engagements acrossUS public sector clients. This role involves coordinating delivery teams, managing customer relationships, and driving growth through proposed solutions.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in consulting, strong Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM experience, and proven ability to manage complex government projects in a demanding IBM-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of consulting experience or equivalent.
• Experience with ERP and HCM SaaS applications, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Experience as architect/solutions specialist, business development manager, or project manager.
• Sustained record of developing new add-on, profitable business.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across client levels.
• Collaborative team player in a IBM-paced environment with diverse groups.
• Attention to detail and relentless problem-solving approach.
• In-depth knowledge of public sector organizations, processes, challenges, and technologies.
• Active participation in professional associations, industry roundtables, etc.

Responsibilities

• Improve customer success through customer-centric engagement and high customer satisfaction.
• Establish public sector/K12 industry best practices and customer advocacy within IBM delivery.
• Orchestrate delivery-led growth and partnerships with public sector/K12 clients.
• Create customer forums to enhance IBM client experience and industry presence.
• Direct multiple project work teams and oversee development and integration of deliverables.
• Set objectives, monitor progress, and manage staffing and priorities.
• Provide leadership in structuring large, multi-year engagements with multiple sub-contractors.
• Manage delivery of a portfolio of public sector projects within timelines, budgets, and quality specs; apply risk, change, and contract management.
