Qualifikationen

• Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in an acute care facility
• Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology
• Required to float to all locations of UCI Health as needed
• Completion of clinical training in an acute care perioperative setting
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, and understanding of medical terminology

• Assist with direct patient care activities in the Operating Room
• Prepare and stock the OR before and after surgery
• Gather clean and sterile supplies and set sterile instrument fields
• Maintain aseptic techniques and assist with orientation of new staff
• Float to all UCI Health locations as needed
