Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Surgical Tech to support the Operating Room. This role involves preparing the OR, stocking supplies, and maintaining aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during procedures.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, and a minimum of six months acute care OR experience or completion of an accredited OR Tech program. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Minimum six months acute care experience as an OR Tech or OR Tech training program graduate.
• Ability to maintain customer service and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care activities in the Operating Room.
• Prepare and stock the OR before and after surgery; gather clean/sterile supplies.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and assist with staff orientation.
