Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Scheduling Coordinator to manage surgical schedules and coordinate across clinics, physicians, anesthesia teams, vendors, and support departments. You will lead daily scheduling huddles and ensure timely information for a smooth surgical day.

Proficiency with the PICIS scheduling system is required. This role emphasizes organization under pressure and collaboration with clinical partners to adapt plans as needed.

Qualifications

Medical terminology knowledge required in a clinical setting.
Administrative support experience in a clinical setting required.
Customer service experience, healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate surgical schedules and real-time updates for a seamless surgical day.
Lead daily huddles and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Ensure anesthesia, equipment, and vendor support are in place as needed.
