Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in related field.
• State licensure or certification as an optician if required by state.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Document patient communications clearly in records.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate with measurements and prescriptions.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit needs, occupations, and features.
• Take measurements, assist with adjustments and troubleshooting, dispense eyewear.
• Ensure correct pricing and realistic delivery quotes to patients.
• Provide enthusiastic, concise communication to meet patient expectations and foster relationships.
• Maintain display merchandising and daily upkeep of the store.
• Assist with insurance billing and processing orders.
• Document all patient communications in the practice software.
• Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.
