Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Senior Production Technician to perform advanced technical work in our ophthalmic lens production areas. You will troubleshoot equipment, mentor junior staff, and support cross-training across Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating to ensure quality compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years in an optical lab or related technical field, with at least 2 years at Production Technician level.
• Completion of training in at least five functions across Senior/Production/Associate levels.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced processes, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and conformance testing.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Document non-conforming product and ensure corrective measures are applied.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Associates and Technicians.
• Maintain cross-training across Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating.
