Job summary

EssilorLuxottica seeks a Senior Production Technician to drive advanced technical work in our Lab Ops, supporting cross-training across Surfacing, Finishing or Coating. You will mentor junior staff and ensure high-quality prescription eyewear production in line with company standards.

The role requires 3+ years in optical labs or manufacturing, including 2+ years at Technician level, strong mechanical aptitude, and proven leadership and communication skills. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical exposure.
• 3+ years in optical lab or manufacturing; 2+ years in a Production Technician role.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot multi-area production equipment.
• Completion of trainings in five functions, including two Senior, one Production, two Associate levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced technical processes, calibrations, preventive maintenance, safety checks and conformance testing.
• Troubleshoots equipment, leads root cause analysis, and recommends corrective actions.
• Segregates non-conforming product and applies corrective measures.
• Provides on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring.
• Supports cross-training in Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating as needed.
• Maintains records of production, maintenance and quality control activities.
