Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Missouri is seeking a Senior Production Technician to perform advanced technical work in Surfacing, Finishing, or Coating, while supporting cross-training across areas. You will troubleshoot equipment, lead root-cause analysis, mentor junior technicians, maintain quality records, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced optical production environment.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, leadership, and communication skills, with a minimum of three years in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in optical lab or manufacturing.
• Experience at least 2 years at the Production Technician level.
• Completion of training in five functions across Senior, Production, and Associate levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced technical processes, calibrations, preventive maintenance, safety checks, and conformance testing.
• Troubleshoots equipment, leads root cause analysis, and recommends corrective actions.
• Segments and documents non-conforming products with corrective actions.
• Provides on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to Associates and Technicians.
• Supports cross-training in Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating as needed.
• Maintains records of production, maintenance, and quality control activities.
• Ensures compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
