Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Senior Production Technician to perform advanced technical work across Surfacing, Finishing, or Coating areas, providing mentoring and ensuring prescription eyewear meets our quality standards.

You will troubleshoot equipment, lead root-cause analysis, and train junior technicians while maintaining safe, compliant production processes and accurate records in a dynamic, global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in optical lab, manufacturing, or related technical environment, including at least 2 years at Production Technician level.
• Completion of training in at least five qualified functions across Senior, Production, and Associate levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced technical processes, calibrations, preventive maintenance, safety checks, and conformance testing.
• Troubleshoots equipment and workflow issues; leads root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Segregates and documents non-conforming product and ensures corrective measures.
• Provides on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to associates and technicians.
• Supports cross-training across Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating areas as needed.
