Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Senior Production Technician to perform advanced technical work in Surfacing, Finishing, or Coating, while mentoring junior team members and supporting cross-training across areas. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in optical lab, manufacturing, or related tech environment with 2+ years at Production Technician level.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment across multiple production areas.
• Completion of training in five qualified functions including Senior/Production/Associate levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical processes, calibrations, preventive maintenance and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot equipment and lead root cause analysis for corrective actions.
• Document non-conforming product and ensure corrective actions.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring to associates and technicians.
• Cross-train in Surfacing, Finishing, or Coating as needed.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality and safety.
