Job summary

Lob is seeking a Business Operations Manager to own cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM. You will drive ambiguity into documented processes, coordinate multi-team efforts, and deliver executive-ready communications to close gaps in execution.

You will analyze program decisions using Lob's data and AI tools, document outcomes, and hand off to permanent owners with measurable metrics, while supporting planning and leadership cadences across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting/corporate strategy, business operations, or related fields.
• Experience in cross-functional delivery across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM is ideal.
• Familiarity with BI/data warehouse tooling and AI-assisted analysis expected; SQL helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own 3–5 concurrent cross-functional programs with defined end states and owners.
• Coordinate across teams that don’t report to you and drive programs to completion.
• Produce analysis behind program decisions using Lob's data and reporting stack.
• Document each program on completion and transition it to a permanent owner with a survivable metric.
• Provide backup for FP&A and analytics deliverables and support company-wide operating cadences.
• Demonstrate program management chops by scoping work, sequencing dependencies, and holding owners to dates across orgs.
