Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations to lead fulfillment center operations, shaping strategy and execution for a large functional area that impacts millions of customers. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity by building scalable processes and a data-driven culture.

You will coach a team of operations leaders, translate multi-source data into actionable insights, and collaborate with site leadership and partner teams to align priorities during steady state and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large fulfillment center operations function, establishing scalable processes and performance mechanisms that drive safety, quality, and productivity outcomes across your organization.
• Build, coach, and develop a team of operations leaders by providing continuous feedback, identifying growth opportunities, and creating an inclusive environment where all team members contribute and thrive.
• Analyze operational data from multiple sources to identify trends, solve complex problems through root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions that improve long-term performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with site leadership and partner teams to align on strategic priorities, integrate plans across departments, and drive collective success during both steady-state and peak operations.
• Champion a culture of safety by modeling safe behaviors, incorporating safety considerations into operational planning, and ensuring your team consistently meets or exceeds safety standards.
