Xcel Energy is seeking a Standard Operations professional to maintain and coordinate daily work plans across multiple crews, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will assign tasks, manage resources, and optimize crew placement for efficient operations.

The role emphasizes real-time scheduling adjustments, coordinating equipment and materials, and communicating updates to frontline leaders and stakeholders. Strong collaboration and attention to reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations.
• Scheduling/planning experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools.
• Knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of computer software applications which include Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules and assign crews for priority tasks.
• Coordinate all equipment to complete the work and ensure materials are ready just in time.
• Communicate schedule updates to front line leaders, crews and stakeholders to reduce non-productive field time.
• Review work packets and manage exceptions to keep promised start dates.
• Identify and communicate necessary project changes to the right personnel.
